Looking for a bit of advice - and please no spoilers 😉
So, we have just begun Call of the netherdeep, and im wondering what minis I should start Printing.
I already have quite a broad selection of printed Minis, but most have not recived any paint yet. So, im hoping to be pointed in what direction to go, in terms of what would be PROBABLY be nice to have on hand.
Personally, I go through the book and make a list of creatures that you come across in each quest/segment that would be useful to have a mini of (so, as a counterexample, I identified one quest where it's not likely to be done by minis but by theatre of mind, so I didn't include them on the list), then work out a priority list. I also exclude ones that I don't have access to an appropriate STL or I feel takes too many resources for how much value I'll get for having it.
I did that for RotFM, and I'm now currently working on painting them so that for each session I only have a couple to do each week, which I know I can do.
If you're not DM, as for a similar list from the DM.
Other than that, I'm not sure what you're really asking for. What ones you need are highly dependent on what you have and how much time and effort you have to spare, as well as how picky you are that there is an individual mini for each individual in the game, etc. Also where you're getting your STL files from. I'm more liberal in what I print than I otherwise would be because I largely use free STLs. If I were insistent on only using myminifactory, for example, I'd be much stricter on what gets printed because it becomes more expensive.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Not the Dm. Then it would be easy enough figuring out what to print / paint. Im also pretty sure I could just do a google search, but im afraid I will end up getting too many spoilers that way - which I really do not want.
As for STL files. Well, I have have quite a few subs (Loot, Archvillian, Printing goes ever on, Lord of the Print, Crippled god foundry + other various creators).
Just ask the DM for the list, given how much effort you'll be putting in by creating the minis, that's not an unreasonable request. You don't need the quest name or anything, just groupings so you can figure out priority.
If you want free ones, MZ4250 has done most 5e creatures for free (he has a Patreon for a single location and presupported stuff, but you don't have to use it). Some are really good, others aren't, but I generally look up each creature on both MMF and MZ4250, then decide whether I want to pay out for the creature or if I'm happy with MZ4250's version. It saves a lot of money doing it that way.

Thanks.
I already sub MZ as well, but the stl he does, is a bit "hit or miss" 😁
Guess I will just ask our DM.....😉
