Is it possible to add my paper copy books to the site now?

It is not possible to do so (other than having private homebrew where you manually recreate your offline content). Wizards is testing selling digital and hard copy bundles where you get both products by paying a slightly higher price, but it is all but certain they will not do so for already purchased products (not only would it would be to their financial detriment, it would be a logistical nightmare to make a system that actually worked as intended).

Yes, what Caerwyn_Glyndwr says is definitely what's happening. Divining what has been said of the CEO and the new COO of Hasbero, and the WoTC peeps, it's clear they are going to make D&D a very, very digital experience. They are aiming at, likely, late 2023 to launch a sales model rather like Caerwyn_Glyndwr points out.
Slightly lower price. The cost the bundle is slightly lower than buying the two separately (and in most places, is actually more expensive than buying them separately due to postage and packaging costing more than the saving).

I was referencing the price of a corporeal book, which OP indicated they tended to purchase - I could have been a tad more clear on the phrasing.
