Can't verify as don't have these but I imagine it's probs imagery from the Wild Beyond Witchlight book since these dice are supposed to be related to it.

Be careful with that "all" because I checked my own dice, list below, and none of these have the images as far as I can tell. Haven't checked the rest because it's annoying process, boring and not worth it. It's enough to show "not all", which is my point..

I don't see it on mine. So I can't comment further. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you actually have images taken from the dice being used in a roll on the character sheet?

Is it all the same building on all the dice? Thanks for the gif. I wasn’t see it in the static pics. Could it be Wizards HQ building? I have no idea where they are located so just throwing out a guess
Because there is a discrepancy between the images you are posting and the actual dice implemented. If your claim is that the dice hide hidden images then showing that in the actual dice (the ones people are actually getting and using) is proof. The images you have so far shown are not of those dice, and therefore indicate nothing of your claim - unless I'm misreading your claim?
I cannot comment further on what you are seeing. I can only comment that I've checked the dice myself and not seeing what you are. What I am checking is the actual dice. It doesn't seem you are which is contradictory to your claim.

I think its is the same image on all the dice but I'm not 100% sure. I'm hoping someone from dndbeyond can chime in and shed some more light on the subject.
@Cyb3rM1nd - Not sure what you're doing, but I don't need to provide anyone with proof. You can go to the link for the set of the dice and zoom in on the 4d and see for yourself.
There does seem to be a reflection on the shop images of a modern building or city. I couldn't see one on my owned ones after rolling, but I don't own any shiny ones, and the ones I do own aren't really conducive to showing that image, plus they only show multiple angles during the roll, so it's unlikely I'd have been able to see it anyway. I'm not sure why the image has to be present on the rolled dice - the claim was that one could be seen, and there's definitely something on the shop front dice images. Whether it's on the actual rolled dice is another interesting datapoint, but isn't essential.
My speculation is that it is just a trick to make the dice look more natural and high quality - shiny dice reflect stuff from their environment. If you have no environment to reflect (like in a virtual one), then they look odd and flat, which isn't good if you're trying to sell what is really a cosmetic upgrade. So, they program a mock environment for it to reflect and make it more natural. You're not really supposed to notice what the reflections are, and I daresay that there's nothing symbolic about to buildings, beyond some Easter Egg and its WotC HQ, like TQW suggested.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
It could be a simple security measure to see if people are sealing their art or some such thing.
I myself do not have problems with hidden watermarks or images with info in such products.
I do not see the gotcha point of view, as you either do it or you do not if you are trying to be sneaker for some reason that could cause potential issues.
Edit:
I was thinking it might be nice to have transparent picts in dice that rotated from a set list of art... but that really depends on how the end product looked.
I ended up find out the answer to this question elsewhere. Thank you everyone for the help.
Which was?

I dunno what answer ixr0n found, but you were right in your post. It's an environment map, it's a graphics technique that fakes mirror reflections to create more realistic-looking materials.
Does anyone know what image is being used inside the transparent dice?
I can see a few modern buildings and a billboard but not sure what this is referencing.

Its a reasonable suggestion, but its a photograph of a modern city. You can see it in all the digital dice.

Thanks for the advice to be careful, but I do mean all. Its not as obvious on dice sets that are solid, but you can still see the reflected image.

Its showing up in the 3D view for the dice that are currently in the store. It might be hard to make out in the image so I made a .gif

Please do not contact or message me.
