It's not about being for or against. 1.0(a) is what it is, and every statement from wotc for decades agreed it was not something they could deauthorize. They don't get to change their minds now because it's convenient. End of story. They can release OneD&D however they want but 1.0(a) remains a valid license no matter what they say. 5e Srd is open content and always will be, period. They will lose in court if it's challenged. Their only way forward is to drop 5e compatability for OneD&D, because they aren't going to succeed in taking previously open content 5e srd and changing the terms. They have failed miserably and the lawsuits haven't even started yet.
