I assume no one who actually knows is allowed to answer this, but I’ve bought enough of the books that if they put the bundles on sale they’d be something I’d consider for the remaining content.
But because of their pricing (where the cost of the bundle is reduced by what you’ve already paid) and because most of what I’ve bought was from sales, if I buy a bundle I have to pay back my earlier savings. Unless they put the bundles on sale too it‘s close to costing me more to buy the bundle than to buy the remaining contents individually.
The content on sale now seems to be exactly the same as the last sale. Does it look like sales of the big bundles are a thing of the past now? Or were they always just only in occasional sales?
If I remember rightly, they only did sales on bundles once a year. Couldn't tell you when though.
The advantage of bundles is the future discounts. Even if they don't ever do bundle discounts again, it may be worth gritting your teeth and buying the bundle even if you "lose" the savings you had earlier to get the discount.
Or maybe not. It depends on how much of a spender you are and whether you'd actually make the money back with a future 5-15% discount.

Okay, thanks! For now I’m not sure if I’m actually going to use enough of the books for it to be worth buying back previous discounts for potential future ones, so I reckon I’ll hold out a bit longer in case they do decide to put the bundles on sale some time.
If you want a sale on bundles, wait for Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday, as that is usually when it will happen. There is also Christmas, but I believe Thanksgiving generally has better deals.
the announcement does read that there will be more stuff happening on the 27th for Cyber Monday. they did something similar last year when sales kinda overlapped.
Yeah, no sale on bundles, and it is Cyber Monday. I guess you can try to wait for Christmas, but if they are not doing bundle sales on Cyber Monday, they might not do it for Christmas either.
Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Year's maybe? But yeah, I doubt they are doing a sale on bundle if they did not do it for Thanksgiving.
I have it on good authority that tomorrows Christmas Advent Calendar gift will be a 15% discount code for the Legendary Bundle. It's unfortunate, they had also originally planned to provide more discounts on the other bundles (Player & Source Bundles) but have since removed them in favour for off-site licenced bits and bobs.
Yes there’s a code for 15% off the Legendary Bundle.
A little disappointed it’s 15% off the amount you’d need to pay, not 15% off the headline price before they deduct the amount you’ve already spent, as that would have made a much bigger difference.
I think this means you’re better off not buying anything beforehand, as the reduction in price of the bundle (with the extra 15% off) is only 85% of what you paid.
So if you only have $500 left, you'd only get $75 compared to the $150 if you'd not bought anything? Feels a bit harsh getting a worse for having already bought stuff, but it's basically advertising rather than gifts really, so I can see the logic.

Player bundle is 20% off right now without a code needed. Maybe they are having the same discounts just not through the advent calendar specifically.
That is the standard year round pricing. They had intended on providing a further $20 savings with code 'CALENDAR2023' bringing the total price down to $75.97 but pulled out. Similar situation with the $100 Source Bundle savings and $150 Legendary Bundle savings. The Extended Rules Gift Set also originally had a 65% discount. They were all replaced with coupons for D&D themed toasters and such.

Thanks - I can definitely hold out till then 😄
I have bad news... Possibly... The bundles aren't showing up as on sale for me, however the sale did *just* start.
Yeah I’ve been waiting months for this moment! No bundles for me 🥲

Not much more today that I can see - and still no bundles. Ho hum.
Is this a 50% discount Sales of just random discounts on stuff? Does anyone know?
