In the Sword Coast Adventurers Guide sourcebook there is the Arcana Domain for clerics which lets you choose 2 cantrips from the wizard spell list but they count as Cleric spells, so if you can get access to that subclass then you could get Firebolt and go around using Wisdom instead of Intelligence for the attack.

Alternatively, take Magic Initiate as a feat. You still have to use Intelligence as your Spellcasting Ability, but at least you're not tied in to a specific Domain or race and just losing an ASI instead. Whatever works best for you, though.

Spell Sniper is another feat that would let you do so, but with both feats you could choose between intelligence or charisma since the spell is on both the wizard and sorcerer lists.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Semi-Secret option 3...but this does require your DM to be very accomodating and maybe do some extra world building.
Bat your eyes loving at your DM and ask if you can be a member of a guild similar to those in the Guildmasters Guide to Ravnica sourcebook. In essence, your guild membership replaces your background and the guild give you access to extra spells which are added to your class spell list. In that particular book are the Gruul Guild (a bunch of anachists itching for a fight) and Rakdos Guild (A Circus run by a Demon) which both give you access to Firebolt and it would count as a Cleric spell for you.

There is now an over option with Initiate of High Sorcery from the Dragonlance book. It let you add a wizard Cleric and choose the spellcasting ability of your choice. Not in BG3 but it’s a stronger option because you keep wisdom as the ability of choice

In Baldur's Gate III the high elf Shadowheart is a cleric who knows the firebolt cantrip.
Clerics use their wisdom modifier + proficiency bonus to cast ranged attacks, but firebolt is a wizard cantrip.
So, if a cleric wants to cast firebolt, they use their wisdom modifier or intelligence modifier + proficiency bonus?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my English. :)
In 5e, High Elves get to choose a Wizard cantrip as a racial feat and use Intelligence as the spellcasting ability for it, regardless of their class.
Thank you very much!!!!
