Howdy! I've got my character, just need to download a pdf of his sheet, but for whatever reason it keeps just downloading a blank sheet for me. Looked it up and seemed to be just an iPad problem, but I tried it again on a different device and the same problem occurred. Anyone know any way to fix this? I'd be much obliged!
However, I did find a workaround. My issue existed only when I was downloading the file through Edge, using the functionality through chrome fixed the issue
This issue can occur with certain PDF apps because they don't support form-fillable PDFs with already completed fields (which is how DDB exports character sheets)
Try using adobe acrobat—it's free and I've not encountered anyone being unable to open DDB character sheet exports with it.
This is also the same advice given in countless other threads on this topic—it's not a bug with DDB, it's a limitation of the PDF format and how some apps handle it, something DDB has zero control over.
In addition to what Davyd suggested, I should point out that the built-in PDF viewers in pretty much any modern web browser other than Microsoft Edge opens them just fine.
