With the D&D Anniversary this year, I know there are a lot of scheduled special events, releases, etc. Here is what I have found so far in my digging:
January 2024:
The Book of Many Things, The Deck of Many Things & The Deck of Many Things Card Reference Guide.
Remaining 2024:
2024 Upgraded Players Handbook
2024 Upgraded Dungeon Masters Guide
2024 Upgraded Monster Manual
Vecna: Eye of Ruin
The Making of Original Dungeons and Dragons: 1970-1976
Descent into the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth
Quests from the Infinite Staircase
These are just the book releases. I know that D&D teased us with a 3D Map Making Software for those that play via VTT, and I'm sure there will be videos and media that are being made as well.
Is there anywhere that outlines everything that will be happening and when it will be happening?
I'm pretty excited to see what some of the special Anniversary celebrations will be.
Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
The May release for PHB and other core books is questionable at best. The date came from some graphics posted at a convention which showed vecna and the PHB with the same late May release date. Then the PHB graphic was quickly (within a few hours, which is light speed as far as WotC’s normal reaction time) taken down and re-posted without any date. So either they accidentally released the date without meaning to, or someone in the graphics department threw it on when they weren’t supposed to. There’s been no official date announced for the core books.
I am not trying to vet if the assumed dates I saw online were realistic, but if any people know what all of the special Anniversary things that D&D will be doing this year to celebrate, AND if any of them have official dates.
I'll edit my original post to remove the flimsy timeframes I found online.
Cheers!

My experience with huge gaming companies is this: they promise big for a certain calendar year, then release it in the final quarter, or even the final month just to say they kept their promise. The rules of the game in any business: oversell expectations.
I am not knocking the business model, but it’s a way to keep up the excitement and interest in hopes you will spend more on other stuff while waiting.
Probably. I'd assume it's coming in May-August time.
Not really narrowing it down, but I don't think assumptions of a tighter band is reliable.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
The slide in question I think was shown at PAX Unplugged, one of the U.S.'s biggest table top gaming conventions. A lot of media and influential social media jump on those dates, and WotC kinda quietly walked back the slides assertions.
For reference, here's how 2014 5e was rolled out, note the order was SRD/Free Basic Rules, Starter Box, PHB, MM, DMG (wikipedia):
The 5th edition's Basic Rules, a free PDF containing complete rules for play and a subset of the player and DM content from the core rulebooks, was released on July 3, 2014. The Starter Set was released on July 15, featuring a set of pre-generated characters, a set of instructions for basic play, and the adventure module Lost Mine of Phandelver. The Player's Handbook was released on August 19, 2014. The fifth edition Monster Manual was released on September 30, 2014. The Dungeon Master's Guide was released on December 9, 2014.
Hasn't been mentioned specifically, but Starter Sets do really well in the current TTRPG market, since they usually cost half of a core manual, so 1/6 a set of core books, so it'd be a cost effective way for potential transitioning players as well as new players to see if the 2024 rules have enough in it to go in for the new core. But I could definitely see a summer through Christmas role out of the 2024 expression of the rules, with the next few months maybe closing out the "classic" line with Vecna (to tie off this obelisk stuff, finally).
Does anyone know if they will be creating new Novels for to celebrate the rules and the 50th Anniversary. I sure hope since new novels are way way overdue

They've announced a new novel set in Faerun called The Fallbacks by Jaleigh Johnson coming the start of March. It's the first in a new series so more on the way, possibly one before the end of the year, but no idea if it'll be using the new rules.

I think the May release was only (and provisionally) for the PHB, with the MM and DMG probably later in the year.

Thank you both for the response.

I suspect the graphic was something created for internal consumption, so it reflects internal aspiration, not external promises.
