Anyone know why some subclasses aren't available even if you reach Level 3?
My character is a Tiefling Fighter. When I reached Level 3, I was able to access the Champion subclass, but that was it, I wasn't able to choose any of the other Subclasses that were listed. Despite that, I went with the Champion subclass as it is a good class. However, now I want to edit my character sheet and make my character and Eldritch Knight. Unfortunately, I don't see that option available.
Now, I know you can add additional Subclasses as you level up, but I'd like to change it now this way I can cast a few spells related to my character--fire spells in particular.
Is DNDBeyond aware that they need to update their sheet?

Unless you've bought more subclasses, or are in a campaign with content sharing and somebody else who has bought stuff, all you get for free is the basic rules, which only contain one subclass per class.
You can get Eldritch Knight for yourself by buying the Players Handbook, or the individual subclass off the PH's store page. (If you buy EK, and later get the PH, the price will be reduced appropriately.)
Also, you only ever get one subclass, unless you multiclass, in which case you get to pick one subclass for each main class.
Note that if you buy all the subclasses for $10, then it'll discount the whole book by $10 so if you change your mind later and want the whole book, you still will have only paid the $30.
NB: That doesn't work on the small option bundles with in a book - if you buy one option for $1.99, then the whole book will be $28, but the bundle of subclasses will still be $10. So I would always go for the bundles of options or just go for the whole book, personally.

The character sheet only shows options you can access because you've purchased them or a friend has and has you in their campaign.
The Champion is free and an option because it's in the Basic Rules.

How do you buy more subclasses? Is it affordable--cheap?
In the PH, they're $2 each, or $10 for all of them. Just go to the PH page in the marketplace, and scroll down until you find them.
(You can only buy them on the website, not the app.)
Thank you!
I found the ones I need. I think I'll just buy the bundles as they're cheaper than buying individual.
