Long story short, I'm a Ranger 5/Cleric 7 and trying to create Stonehenge-esque standing stones to do a ritual for my god. I figured with Stone Shape, I could manufacture the Stones and then use my trusty pet elephant to pull them, arrange them into a circle, and erect them. The problem is that a quick Google search reveals that Stonehenge stones weigh between 25 and 30 tonnes. So, I'll have to get more creative if I want it to be as grandiose as I imagine. Do you know what I could do with the Cleric spell list (Level 4 spells and under) and a pet elephant?
If you have gold then hire help. Work with your temple and ask for help. Say you want to create this wonderful dedication for your deity and see what they say. From there it's up to the dm to allow it to happen with rolls of the dice or the gold you have.
Or. . . one could travel here, and figure out how to steal it. Modern day Stonehenge, Maryhill, Washington State, USA Genuine reinforced concrete, in great condition. [Been there a few times, on one of my motorcycle runs.]
Yeah, hired or devoted labor that can operate ropes, wheels, and levers will get you what you need. Earthen ramps are probably how you get the crosspieces on.
Having magic and a pet elephant will help a lot, though. Earth elementals are probably very useful here. Repeated castings of wall of stone could do a lot of the work. Stone shape can flow the stone into place, but it'll take a long time.
However, there's more to it than just getting the rocks in place. As is well known, Stonehenge is where the demons dwell, and where the banshees live (and they do live well), and getting either of those to sign a rental agreement is a huge pain. Getting the children to dance to the pipes of Pan is also needed, but much simpler. :)
My 2cp worth is a potentially rediculously expensive option but hire a level 11 druid to cast Druid Grove in the same place every day for a year so the spells duration becomes "until dispelled" and have the cosmetic appearance be that of a henge.
Option2: Building on above ideas (no pun intended) don't use stone, use trees, an elephant should find it easy to push/pull trees into place and you can use these either as a sort of scaffold and then use magic to strengthen that and enable more plant growth to create a circle or grove etc.
Or option 3: Dig a pit and make a henge similar to Gobeklitepe in Turkey, use stone shape and non-magical means to turn the soil and earth you excavate into bricks and build up the stone monoliths brick by brick.

Hire help.
Seriously, this is exactly the sort of thing that hirelings are good for.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
