Only help I can give you is to paste something really long below and find out. But then it would be nice if you would edit it away and replace it with letting us know if you found a limit.
I don't know for sure, but it might be best to put long blocks of text in separate posts anyway, or to add the spoiler tag for readers to expand posts as needed. At the very least when you create the thread, comment a few times to reserve yourself some additional room.
Is there a text limit for forum posts? I am working on something for the Story/Lore Forum and I want to be sure I can fit it all in one post.
Also please forgive me if this is the wrong place for questions, I haven't been able to find the right place for that.

The character count is 245,691
The character limit for forum posts is 10,000 characters.
