For context, the thread would be gathering ideas and finding people to help me adapt a tv show setting to DND.

If you want to homebrew a world, you can probably find help in Dungeon Masters Only. Though I will say, you probably don't need to poll where to put it every time you want to make a thread - if it's in the wrong place, mods will generally give you a heads up and move it to the right place (at least historically)
