I have never ordered physical books through D&D Beyond, but thought I would try it out for the core books. (Don't worry, I also plan on getting the special edition cover at my FLGS at launch!)
The pre-order lure is that you get to access the D&D Beyond digital book early. But does anyone know if they are also shipping the physical copy early too? Just wondering when I will receive each book, since I prefer to read the content of the book in physical form and then reference rules in the digital form while playing.
Physical books go out at as normal, so far as I'm aware.
Early access is only for those who have subscriptions (1 week early for Hero, 2 weeks for Master).

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
I was really hoping that early access meant they would ship the books early too though. Alas...
Now I am wondering if they will deliver on the day that they launch in retail, or if they will SHIP on the day they launch... Would be annoying if I got the special edition cover before the regular version shipped through D&D Beyond.
From what I've seen, they try to ship it the day of release, not deliver. If you want it as early as possible, it's best to go through your FLGS...but that means no bundle for DDB (unless you've done both, like it sounds like you have).

Yeh... that's what I was assuming the answer was.
