Is anyone able to access subclasses from the expanded content? When building a 2024 fighter, I see new PHB and XGtE options, but nothing else. I'm missing the following subclasses:
Arcane Archer, XGTE Echo Knight, EGTW Gunslinger, CR Rune Knight, TCoE (Edit: I do have access to this one) Scofflaw, Humblewood
I'm wondering if this is intentional, or they're just still a work in progress?
Does anyone also not have full access to the core content?
I only have access to a handful of origin feats and zero 2024 general feats. Only 2024 classes i have access to are the cleric, rogue, wizard and fighter. All of the other classes are listed under "Legacy".
I hope this is not what they meant by early access because unless the rest are filled in within the coming week then this isn't really early access. It's partial, not really, access that's not worth advertising if this is all we're getting.
I am having the same issue. I logged out and logged back in. I also went to the license and synced my license and still nothing has updated for me. The 4 core classes (Fighter, Cleric, Ranger, and Rogue) are the only options I have available. Also, no backgrounds from 2024, feats, or anything appear to be options to select when building a PC.
I am having the Same issue, can't select any class options that are from 3rd parties. I suspect it's because they were made for the 2014 class and they haven't updated them to the 2024 class since they are considered two separate classes to DND beyond.
Yesterday I went to upgrade a current character I'm using in a play group and noticed that the Phantom subclass for Rouge is unavailable, I have no clue as to why this is and it sucks because I am using the with said character. I even tried logging out and logging back in, and still nothing. I'm starting to think maybe they either still are fixing a few things (most likely) or maybe they intend those subclasses to be unusable in 2024 (gods I hope not). I'm thinking give it a couple more days to see if everything is fixed, since they seemed to have issues Yesterday (September 3rd) and the fact it took almost 2 hours longer to preform maintenance.
I went through what all the new classes have, from what I noticed is only the Arcane Archer and Phantom subclasses are seemingly missing from the options. I was surprised to see they even have Lunar Sorcerer subclass which I don't even own, and never heard of till today.
So, what I have learned is that the NEW Wizard Class when character building is now fully different than the old. If you choose your old Wizard PHB it will have all the extra subclasses. I am assuming this is the same for each Core Class as well.
It seems to mostly be third party content that's not available. But yeah, Arcane Archer and Phantom are expanded rules material that are supposed to be available.

Jeremy Crawford stated that all old subclasses would be compatible, and stated that there's a sidebar in the new PHB on how to integrate them with the new material. I haven't been able to find that section yet.
Anyone figure out the echoknight yet? I just wanna try the new fighter changes with my current character who is an echoknight but I can't on the dndbeyond app.
I can't even choose Warlock. I can only see Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, Wizard. Tried logging out and back in, still the same issue. Looks like I can't update (creating a new 2024 character with same level, inventory, stats etc. as my 2014 warlock) my warlock into the 2024 era yet.
You'll need to create a custom Homebrew of the echo knight (just copy over all the features as worded). Echo knight currently is only available for the 2014 fighter for DND beyonds back end. But it will mesh with the new fighter rules really well.
I, like others, am not able to see all of the updated classes from the 2024 PHB beyond Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, and Wizard. I have tried logging out and back in to fix it and that did not change anything, in both the webpage and mobile app. The weird thing is that I was able to make a Bard with the 2024 core rules just last night or the night before without any issues. I also confirmed that i have the 2024 core rules in my library. The classes that are visible seem to be the ones in the "free rules," so I am not sure if the issue is that DnD Beyond is only allowing people access to the free classes even though they may have already bought or preordered the 2024 PHB.

Do you own the book, or is it shared with you? If you did buy it, do you also have a master tier subscription?
If you own the book, try syncing your entitlements.
If you don't, then you can only use it in the character builder when building a character in a campaign where the book is being shared.

I can chose the Rune Knight but not the other options.
Hopefully the missing options will be adden soon, my campaign will be updated to 2024 and my character has the Echo Knight subclass.

Had the same issue. I logged out and logged back in which fixed the issue.
Yeah, I missed Rune Knight when making the comparison. I do actually have access to it. But I am missing the rest, which is frustrating.
Thank you, you sweet sweet angel of the higher plains. This worked for me too

The sidebar will unfortunately be in the DMG, if indeed anywhere. It was never promised that it will be in the PHB.

Third-party subclasses are not currently available. It's probably a licensing issue.
