Since the new Character sheet was released, is there a way that one can add a list of beast including their stats (e.g. stats provided from PHB) for my druid (wild shape)?
Or is there already a built-in feature to search for a beast with certain CR (I'm looking for a way to show it in the new sidebar, see below)?
don't worry - displaying information on Wildshape and companions/familiars is being worked on. I'm fairly sure that the details will indeed be displayed in the sidebar.
You can search for beasts with a certain CR and many other filters using the Monster search.

For shared campaigns, please allow homebrew creatures in Collection to be displayed in this feature as well :)

There's also a bug in that snippet. The [2nd] Max CR 1/4 bit never goes away, even at 20th-level.
