i updated my 10 year old ticket without response with a preemptive strike (link to the thread where they mention we'll receive each book separately)...
I don't think this is a WOTC-only issue. I've run into the same issue with other suppliers who have a policy of shipping when all ordered items are available. I ordered all 3 core rulebooks here in the UK via Magic Madhouse, who have the same policy. When I asked them if we could change things so I could get the PHB as soon as they had stock, they agreed to refund me for the DMG and MM and asked me to place separate orders for them so they would ship when available. Great customer service from those guys (all sorted within an hour).
well, i think in this case it is a wotc issue since they said we would be receiving the books separately, close to each book's release date. currently we are very much past release date, there's no official information and support tickets remain unanswered.

The fact is that here they don't even respond to support tickets, so we are completely abandoned
Still nothing on either of my tickets, one being 14 days (the original one after release day) and the other being 5 days (declaring full refund is now wanted). I’m quite literally sat here with nothing whilst WOTC has taken £180 from me and then said nothing.
The crazy thing is that my original ticket was raised in the 4th week of August asking for my email address on the account to be changed, and that still hasn’t been done either as I got 2 replies within 2 hours of each other after 2 and a half weeks, and then promptly have received nothing since.
There has to be some trading/consumer standards practice that this is in breach of? It isn’t some small company that’s packed its bags and run away, it’s WOTC for god’s sake. Where’s the accountability?
”All three of the 2024 Core Rulebooks are available for pre-order as a Digital & Physical bundle. Grab them today to get the interactive digital version and the beautiful hardcover version of each one upon release, as well as fully unlocking their contents on D&D BEYOND. Shipping is free for this bundle.”
"Each one upon release" So again contradicting the ”you will get them all when the last book releases” thing some are getting as a response. Add that to people who ordered all 3 at once and DID get the PHB 2024 (some before release date even ) and it gets even weirder and frankly more annoying. Especially since they just ignore us...
I am sure though that moderators or whatever they are called are aware of this (and other) thread and reading them. Which makes the silence more frustrating.
Ye I'd love to get some replies of e.g. LaTia about what is going on..

I don't want to be a doomsayer, but being an official D&DBeyond video... this probably (like many other things) refers to the USA.
As we already mentioned, apparently they are not having any problems with shipments there (+ they had the chance to purhcase the bundle from the official page from the beginning), nor have anyone's books been withheld until the launch of the MM in February/March.

The silence is insane
Yeah, I think i'm sending an email to support@wizardsscalefaststore.zendesk.com today, not that it will make a difference probably.

I've already sent an email to Wizard Scalefast Store - support@wizardsscalefaststore.zendesk.com and they answered me this:
------------ Thank you for contacting the Wizard of the Coast Team. Please note that the reason you haven't yet received a tracking ID is that one or more of the items you ordered is a pre-order that has not been released yet. It's set to release around the beginning of February 2025. Please remember that release dates are estimates and may vary. We will do our best to ship your order in time for the release. As soon as the item leaves our warehouse, you should receive an email with the tracking ID for your order. We hope you enjoy it once its released. -------------
Of course, I replied that they said they'd send the books separately on the website and the forum.
Yeah, I included that in my initial mail "We were guaranteed that the books would arrive one by one upon individual release" so lets see, but I'm not hopeful tbh
At this point I just want them to admit they ****ed up. I dont want to cancel my order because I want the bonuses and in the end I am fine with waiting. Maybe they can fix it and send the PHB with DMG when it comes out in a couple of monts/weeks.
My brain is also going full conspiracy mode and think they mightve changed their mind by not sending out each book individually to people wqho ordered before you could choose the option because they had supplier problems. Just look at how little books Asia and the Pacific Islands got.
Yeah but some who ordered all 3 did get the PHB. So there's no real consistency to begin with. They just ****ed up and are refusing to deal with it, cause hey, they got the money anyway.

So don't tell me I can cancel the order, I ask you how, and you stay silent.

Fun fact; in the order they are three seperate ones and the PHB 2024 stands as Delivery Status: Preparing order while the other two show the respective release date, so...
Replied that I find it unacceptable and that I am looking forward to hear from them in regards to a solution as they cannot expect us to wait until February, when they promised seperate shipping as that would be false advertising. Doubt it will do anything... I'm so done with wizards -_-
So, I received a response from Scalefast saying that I chose "dispatch all products together" during checkout. I don't remember being given a choice and I would never have chosen to wait until the end. Does anyone else remember seeing this?
Fun thing: the option is hidden by default. Initially, it shows you shipping checked with a green checkmark. Only if you select to edit this, you will get the options. At least it was that way last week.

They released the video about the new dmg today: https://youtu.be/xWNT9N3cE2U?si=Z-s9FL-YAruG1YYa
