Why does dnd beyond use another character sheet layout when you export it to pdf than the players handbook? Where can I find it!?
There are tons of 5e character sheet designs out there; D&D Beyond has their own that's a little different from the one printed in the Player's Handbook because D&D Beyond was originally a separate company that designed their own. There is currently no way to export a D&D Beyond character using the specific character sheet layout from the PHB, if that's what you're asking.
I'm not sure what you are specifically asking, but I'll try to help.
As Wagnarokkr stated, there are as many character sheet designs out in the world as there are opinions on how they should look.
D&D Beyond uses a specific layout so that the information is presented in a specific manor that they thought would be conducive to playing online (vs using paper and pencil).
Now with that said, the new D&D-B 2024 Character Sheet can be found HERE.
With that said, D&D Beyond has already changed the Online Character Sheet to be more in line with the new 2024 tweaks to the 5e system. One example would be changing where "Inspiration" was listed, is now called out as "Heroic Inspiration".
I have seen other posts of people asking if the Digital version of the Character Sheet will be modified more to patch the PDF version, but I am not sure that D&D Beyond is intending to do that. IF they were going to do so, I would assume that they wouldn't change a few things, then go back and to a major overhaul later... they most likely would have completed all of the changes at once, but only time will tell.
Cheers!
