So a few years ago (like 1-3 years before the OGL crises) there was a monster which was I think created for a Day of Play - it was built to be kinda like a Dead-by-Daylight Killer / or like the more recent Relentless Killers of VRGtR. The monster was never in any official books, access to the sheet came from one of the front-blog posts. I think it was called The Trapper, or something like that.
In addition, as I remember it having like a flamethrower weapon/attack and could lay down a set number of traps.
I also believe it had some loose lore about how the monster was a damned villager given to the forest for their crimes? Or something like that.
Thanks for all of anyone/everyone's help in tracking it down.
I'm not so much looking for information about a custom creature, as I'm looking for an/the actual Monster Sheet (or at least the monster's actual name so I can google it), that was located somewhere on D&D Beyond. I don't remember enough details to actually find it within/on D&D Beyond - both because the D&D Beyond Search Engine just isn't that good (and I feel it has gotten worse for anything that isn't 5.5) and the information was from like 3+ years ago.
But I appreciate the response and the question not just dying unanswered. :-)

Whilst it may not be what you need I did find this elsewhere:: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/319255/every-killer-adapted-into-dungeons-and-dragons-5th-edition
Looks pretty interesting, I'll have to take a look at them - thank you.
