Did you make prior purchases to get your Legendary down to $170? I’ve only purchased sourcebook material and just bought the bundle. Still, the difference for the Legendary is quite a bit more unless you already invested in an adventure or two?
Regardless. Thanks for the confirmation on that. Mine doesn’t seem to be adding up to $225, but I figure I should sign out, restart the computer and sign back in and see what happens.
As I said before, I hadn't bought anything before, bought the sourcebook bundle using that discount, then bought the legendary bundle using that other discount. I don't know what else to tell you. Is there any chance you forgot to input the discount for either bundles?
Got it going. Legendary is $177 after discount. Guess that's good enough. Now I just need to decide if having the adventures is worth even that. Hmmmm....
I already have source books bundle plus 3 adventures, My regular cost for legendary is shown as $263, with the $150 code is $113 USD to get it all! I'm really rally on the fence with this because is a great price but my holidays budget for D&D is already way overblown and I don't really need more adventures right now. If this code remains valid for a month I'll get it.
I believe it was mentioned in the dev update last week that the codes would remain active until the end of January.
Not sure if I should be surprised by this or not, but the BOOKTHANKS Coupon worked on the pre-order for Explorer's Guide to Wildemounte
I was going to use it for that as well, but unfortunately I got excited and used to buy Xanathar's before caving and buying the entire Sourcebook bundle. Oh, well. At this point, I have more than enough to keep me content for a while, so I'll just wait for the next sale to get that one.
Just tried to redeem my 2019 Subscriber 25% off Legendary Bundle code
In what manner are the codes being delivered. I began a subscription in the early fall of 2019. But I have seen no contact made to me by DDB in any form since this post was made. I already had the legendary bundle so perhaps it has bearing on this? Also it may not even matter with the current coupon codes. So more of a curiosity as I assume the current code is a don't miss out opportunity.

I believe those Legendary Bundle discount codes were emailed to subscribers at the end of 2019. But I'm not a subscriber so I don't know the specifics beyond that :P
how did that happen for you? how many books did you buy beforehand to get it to that price?
The point is not how much it cost, rather how much he saved. But probably a lot. Without these codes, I don't think it would be possible to get the bundle discount without spending 100$+ more than the books even with 25% off.
I'll share with you my personal path to Legendary Bundle:
I had all but 4 of the source books (Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnika, Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide and Acquisitions Inc), my regular price for the source bundle was $109, I used SOURCETHANKS to get it down to $34 , great price for 4 books (payed $36 after tax).
I previously had the following adventures: Curse of Stradh, LMoF, Dragon of Icespire Peak (+ the 3 extras). A few days after upgrading to the Source Bundle I used BOOKTHANKS to get $5 off from the cart to get Lost Laboratory of Kwalish and Hunt for the Tessalhydra and after that second buy my personal Legendary Bundle cost was shown as $263... So I made the jump and used LEGENDARYTHANKS to get the LB down to $113 USD !! I didn't plan to use them in that way.
Now after reading some newer posts I have a new question: Could I have used the my 25% off code for LB that I got as DM-Level subscriber, stacked with LEGENDARYTHANKS ? I was so excited for the THANKS codes that I completely forgot about the %25 code I had!
Plus, anything other people in your campaign buy is automatically available. My DM runs another campaign and there is a kid who bought everything so he joins them all without having to play. Now I have everything even though I'm not allowed too buy anything.

That was my first thought too. I tried that right away and they didn't stack. Bright side, don't feel bad you didn't spend any "extra" money and got the best deal you could have!
No the 25% doesnt stack, so unless you havent bought anything at all you are probably better using the $150 off. And with the double stacking codes of $75 and $150 you definitely should not be using the 25%. :)

Back in 2018 there were often multiple 25% discount codes floating around. I got lucky at a point when two of them stacked and bought about $400 of books for $200 :)
For those of us that have none of the sourcebooks, adventures, etc. (no D&DBEYOND content at all), what is the best route to take when it comes to using these coupon codes?
I also have the physical essentials kit which gives me a code for the D&DBEYOND version of Dragon of Icespire Peak, as well as a code for 50% off the PHB.
My goal is to purchase the legendary bundle, I just want to do everything in the best order. Thanks!

I´m currently trying to use the coupon "BOOKTHANKS" ($5 off) to buy the "Sleeping Dragon’s Wake" that is $4.99 but the total ends up being $1.99.
Is this a mistake or is the minimum for the purchase?
That is the minimum price they can charge.

Check out my latest homebrew: Mystic Knight (Fighter) v1.31
Might want to add a second book in this cases.

For those that are still debating it, using both codes one after the other definitely gets you the full $225!
I have previously bought books, my source bundle was down to $138.95 and my legendary was at $306.09.
Sourcebook after discount cost me $63.95, at which point my legendary reduced to $167.14 that I then used the second code on to reduce to $17.14.
306.09 - (63.95 + 17.14) = 225!
