At last announcement, the 5.2 SRD released under CC-BY-4.0 was slated to release "weeks" after the monster manual. The MM was officially released exactly a mont ago tomorrow and was finished and shipped for early release well before.
Wizards seems to be making no noise about the initial English SRD, localization plans, or "older editions" they mentioned in the announcement since last May.

Thanks. Looks like they're a just a little noisier than silent, but less than committed.
Will have to stand by and see if or when they live up to the promise.
