For the life of me I can't remember what the name of the spell was or which 3rd party (and I think 5e) source I'd found it in.
It did something along the lines of Instant Summons except it was for clothing/outfits and was tied to a broach or pendant, allowing an instant clothes change from a distance.
There is no official spell that does that in 5e. But there are spells like Instant Summons and Secret Chest that can summon items to you. There is Shiftweave clothing from Eberron setting that let's you change your outfit.
After a quick search on Google I found there was a spell for 3.5 edition in the Magic of Eberron book featuring a spell "Clothier's Closet" which allowed you to summon clothing. You can find the details here.
This inspires me to homebrew something...

Thanks for any help!

Thanks, that's similar. It might be something buried in one of the 4E books that I haven't looked at in a couple of years.
Shiftweave looks fun, I should probably actually read these supplements I've already purchased.
There was a set of magical armor in an earlier edition that could change into clothes too. I think it was chain mail.
