I have a 6th level Dwarven Forge Cleric as my secondary character and my Dungeon Master was kind enough to add Daern's Instant Fortress to my magic items as a made forged and enchanted portable Bastion from my Clan of Forgemaster dwarves. This allows my Forge Cleric to currently make healing potions daily and scribe spell scrolls as well as perform any repairs on any armor or weapons and set up wherever we adventure as an Artisan Dwarven Smith for hire on downtime!
At level 6 the smithy has 2 hirelings and the workshop has 3 hirelings. I can make them all level 3 and develop their artisan skills and add them to my Cleric but I have no idea where to add them on the dnd beyond app. Any help is greatly appreciated just point me in the right direction please.
A further problem is where do the hirelings go when the fortress is n transit? They wouldn’t be inside so I assume they are with you and being protected by the party as you travel. Otherwise you would have to find new ones each time you set up. ( the fortress doesn’t supply the people or, technically, the bastion facilities. I can maybe accept that once installed the fortress’s magic can manage the added facilities but not the people.
