Is anyone else finding it odd that we’re almost at the end of 2025 and baring a delay on Eberron we’ve had every release that’s been previously announced and now have no idea what’s ahead? Where’s the announcements for 2026? Where’s the D&D Direct? We can make educated guesses based on Unearthed Arcana but considering there’s usually at least an aim to get something out in the first quarter (even if it’s usually delayed) I’m finding it strange how quiet WotC are about their upcoming plans. Where’s the hype?
I'd rather they run out of stuff to implement & sell so Hasbro has ZERO excuse not to fund a hiring spree to do a full recoding of Beyond by WotC's Beyond's division.

That would be completely different staff from the ones that write books, and it’s unlikely in the extreme that the staff they have will just stop doing the core of their business for a year

I am also finding it odd. Usually by now we have the next year’s lineup announced.
Maybe they’re afraid that when they officially announce Dark Sun, gen-xers hearts will explode with nostalgia.
They may be waiting until the Eberron book comes out, to not canibalize its hype.
Maybe but I think the delay pretty much already killed the hype for that from anyone who isn’t already a die hard Eberron fan
