I dont like to choose between 2014 and 2025 class/ subclass... please allow us to multiclass between each version back again. That would be great! why block us from doing this!!! why?!!
Because it's not supported by the rules and was never intended to be supported.

Davyd is correct that this is not allowed by the rules, but D&D Beyond does allow you to do this if you really want to; you just have to turn off the Multiclass Requirements checkbox on the Home tab of the character builder.

It does, of course, also disable the ability score requirements for multiclassing, but if you're going outside the rules you might as well go for broke.

If you read back through the post, you'll see they hadn't disabled Multiclass Requirements. That would be "who" is saying they can't...
