Hope springs eternal, but money makes the world go round. I bought the Free League LotR, if enough others did then there may well be more content coming.
I'm dubious, it's been on DDB for a while now, like over a year, and there's been no word about the various expansions (there are seven now). Add on that LotRRP seems to not be doing as well as TOR (still pretty good, but not as well as TOR) and poor implementation here...and I'm skeptical. It's not impossible, but unlikely.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Out of curiosity, what has been rough about the LotR 5E content?
The reports are pretty bad. Basically, you have to reconfigure all of the skills on the character sheet yourself. The extra features of the game like Shadow are not included or tracked, so you have to do that separately (which also kind of defeats the object of having it on DDB). Combine that with the fact that things like spells (which is where the utility of DDB really shines) aren't really part of the game...and it's a bit of a waste. You're really just paying for the ability to have it on your DDB account. Which if you want that, great, but the PDF is cheaper elsewhere (not far off half the price normally, $25 Vs $40, and less than half price right now) and you're not beholden to DDB if and when they decide to discontinue the website.
If they implemented it properly, there could be some value to it, but right now, it's just not worth it and I don't foresee that changing.

... that the other Lord of the Rings 5e books might also eventually be made available here on D&D Beyond?
