Initiative Advantage in VTT

I'm using the VTT to run an online game. However, I have a Barbarian character that always seems to come in close to the end of the Initiative order. His character is at the point where he gets Advantage on Initiative. How can I make sure he's getting this?

They can right-click the initiative bonus and select advantage. This will need to be done every time, there is no way to automate that.

If in the app it may depend on the device - on mine I long-press to right-click.

What about if I have the VTT rolling Initiative? That seems faster and easier since it populates the list, including the bad guys.

It will default to 10 + initiative bonus, not roll. For players to roll they need to roll from sheet. For monsters you can use the auto button to roll all monster initiatives, but this will not work for players.

Okay...next question: Can you move the PCs up and down the Initiative List somehow? That way, they could roll, I could allow the VTT to roll for the enemies, and just drop the PCs into their respective spots.

Sorta. Once you have added the player tokens to the combat and then they roll initiative it should auto-update in the combat for you. But if it doesn't then you can manually edit their initiative to their result (you'll still see the result in game log) - just click the player's initiative in the combat panel and type what you want it to be.
