Hippo people with guns are serious business.
Hippos kill about 500 people per year. In comparison lions do about 250 and bears about 100.
Give hippos guns and those murderous maniacs would destroy us all.

I modeled a Giff society in my SJ game after the British empire, so I can't argue with you about their dangerousness.
But they're still silly. Deadly silly.
I kinda like the idea of the space hamster thing. They even added lore on its tiny variation that brings me to mind hamtaro! Remember that show? gen z and millennials forever! Yeah, I get I'm using slang but it's my way of getting to the point. It gets a little crazy when you find out they add something that would fly completely over my head because with the outside world as it stands now assuming my knowledge on world news is correct, then we probably have bigger problems than arguing over human hippo silliness and the mash-ups that wotc are collaborating on or not. Still, dnd is supposed to be about fun, and it keeps us from going crazy by taking our minds off of messed up roller coaster they call life. Idk, it's a lot of things to think about. But a feel good story about a raccoon, that just goes to show that life isn't always a bad thing after all. Enjoy your debate anyways! Signing off again, thx for the support of my thread!
