Please add more druid subclasses

they have the least .it was a crime to redo conjuration wizard before Shepard druid .when Shepard doesn't work anymore. Please work on this wotc.

I'm wondering if there's an element of 'smell what sells' going on here.

According to their own data, Wizards revealed that the Druid was the least played class. Since post-release of the 5.5e PHB, my theory is that subsequent books are releasing Subclasses belonging to other Classes because they are simply played more. If more material is released for these Classes, more people are likely to buy them, so that they can play them. Hence Wizards thinking here - purely business driven. I could be wrong of course.

All that said, if we're going purely by 5.5e books released, off the top of my head both Barbarian's and Druid's haven't received an additional Subclass, so Barbarian players might feel similarly peeved. It is weird though that, in the new Arcana Unleashed due soon, we didn't even get an update for the Dreams or Shephard Druid.

 The relative unpopularity of Druid was my first thought too but then as you say Barbarian hasn’t had any more subclasses either and that same data shows Barbarians are one of the most popular classes so that idea sort of starts to fall apart. Theres definitely been a heavy focus on Wizard subclasses, arguably an entire book just to give us more Wizards, but then 5e had the same imbalance in favour of Wizards so maybe WotC know something we don’t 

I did like the idea of having 4 Subclasses to keep things 'fair' when the 5.5e PHB released, but it did seem 'incomplete' to not have the other 4 Wizard Subclasses to round out the remaining schools of magic. That said, there does seem like a fair amount of, for lack of a better term, 'favouritism' towards the Wizard class. It does seem odd though that it hasn't occurred to Wizard's to simply update what's already there. New stuff is cool obviously, but it's not a great look when it feels some Classes are getting Subclasses prioritised over others.

If you include the subclasses announced for Arcana Unleashed and the World of Warcraft book, the numbers of subclasses published (or about to be published) for each classes from 2024 are:

Cleric, Wizard: 9

Paladin, Ranger, Rogue: 7

Artificer, Barbarian, Bard, Fighter, Monk, Sorcerer, Warlock: 6

Druid: 4
