Would it be fun adapting aliens into D&D?

Short answer no.  What are grey aliens?  I have never heard of that term.  But if I want sci fi with aliens, I would look for something other then D&D.

 I'm glad you asked because my immediate thought was the creatures from the movie Alien that started the franchise. Hitting those things guaranteed an acid splash

The Alien from Alien is called a xenomorph.
