Any chance we'll get Ryoko's Guide To the Yokai Realms?
WOTC_Randy: Hello, friend! I'd love for us to be able to support Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms. Right now, though, we're limited in the types of content and mechanics we can support while still providing the experience we want players to have on D&D Beyond.
The game platform rebuild should give us a lot more flexibility in the future, but until that work is further along, there are going to be some things we just can't support well yet. Nothing to share on Ryoko's specifically, but I really appreciate you keeping it on our radar!
[Are there quickplay maps for Tales of the Yawning Portal?]
WOTC_Randy: Not at the moment. Tales from the Yawning Portal actually didn't have maps available in Maps for quite a while, so I'm glad we were recently able to get those in there!
I'd love to see Quickplay support for adventures like Sunless Citadel too. Right now our focus is on building that experience for newer content, so for the time being you'll still need to populate those maps yourself. I know that's a bit more prep work, but I appreciate you asking about it!
Are there pre generated character sheets for Ravenloft or WOW? [Reference: https://www.dndbeyond.com/en/dnd-encounters]
LaTiaJacquise: Because this page is specific to the Encounters program, the pre-gens are swapped out every season, so you can expect to see the World of Warcraft ones there in a few weeks.
We have gotten a lot of asks for them as premade characters, to which I'll say we don't have plans to do that right now, but who knows if things will change!
GrandPyromania: Not all of the Drop-in Encounters have Scene Prep so far. Here are the ones that do: Grotto Prison Break, Threshold Guardians, Bandit Ambush, Kobold Surprise, and Elemental Incursion.
We're working on backfilling the existing ones and working on making sure that future encounters will come equipped with Scene Prep, but we're not quite there yet.
WOTC_Zac: Hey everyone! WOTC_Zac here. As Scott mentioned above, he'll be taking over as the Product Manager for Maps while I move on to a new, unannounced project at D&D Beyond.
I joined WOTC almost exactly a year ago to take over Maps. My goal was to finish building the "tablestakes features" we hadn't gotten to yet, sand down some sharp corners, and start laying the groundwork for big new concepts that make it easier for people to start DMing and easier for DMs to run games.
And we have shipped A LOT in the last year. A short list of major features:
Reveals, Monster Reveals, and Animated Reveals
3d Dice on Maps and Shared Dice across all platforms (Maps, Character Sheet, and Mobile)
Journals
Scene Prep
Condition Tracking
Plenty of smaller features like: Enlarge/Reduce Tokens, Polygonal Fog of War, an improved Maps browser, Copy and Paste, Improved Token Menu, Bloodied and Dead Tokens, Theater of the Mind Organizer map, and countless bug fixes.
Working on Maps has been the most fun I've had in my entire career. And talking with YOU ALL - the community - is the most-most fun I've had in my entire career. I'm sad to be leaving Maps behind, but confident in Scott's stewardship and very excited for what's next.
What am I working on next? Well, I'll tell you all about it. The idea is tha- Zac gets hit by an arrow fired by the Marketing department.
More from me soon. :)
LaTiaJacquise: nothing to see here, folks, nothing to see here
for real, though, thanks for being awesome here in the community trenches with me. we'll take good care of Scott :P
WOTC_Zac: I'm not out of the trenches, just in a different one!
Interesting to see Zac moving roles, he's been at the forefront of DDB's increased communications and always seems like a genuinely enthusiastic presence on the team. I wonder where he's off to?

Hopefully he's been promoted to be the new Party Wizard.
Oh. Wait. It sounds like you actually do want to know!
I'll be able to say more soon, but I'm working on an extremely early stage, new project. Will be talking more about it - and seeking feedback from the community - as soon as more ducks are in rows.

Are you working on the new Campaign changes, like being able to define sources for campaigns, or control what homebrew is available to which campaign?

I'm not, but that work is happening! We announced that in our latest roadmap video.

Thanks as always for the summary.

D&D StaffWhen it's time to party (wizard) we will party (wizard) hard.
Love that song! Now I need a wizard version! 😂
Good luck with whatever is to come. And even better luck herding ducks!
