I have noticed that this isn't on the sites marketplace is that because it isn't official (I don't know if it is or not) or has it just not been added yet?
Also has anyone ever used beasts or monsters from this book?
This would actually be great if they were to open up third party access to things like this. I know this is a official WoTC product made by a third party developer (curse) but why couldn't some of these other third party products be made as well at some point.
They often get questions about bringing 3rd party content into the site during their dev updates. I think one of their stated issues(someone correct me if im wrong) is needing a more robust way to differentiate Wizards of the Coast official content from 3rd party content so there is no confusion on what source any particular thing is from.

Maybe the will after the homebrew goals are all finished and reached. I'm not sure if copyright will be an issue though.

Would a physical representation work, as in they have two set logos that show up on the information screen of whatever the book or page is. One indicating official Wizard of the cost thinsg and another for everything else? Or have a seperate market tab then lable them official and non official? The method of showing which book the items, monsters or classes etc come. Via the drop down that shows when you click for more info.
If I had to guess the main issue might be down to permissions or even copyright itself though I don't know how that applies in this case.
I would think that this problem will be solved when they figure out whitelisting and blacklisting. Then it would just be a matter of copyright and agreements with Wizards and Kobold Press.
I believe it is not so much a matter of differenciation, but rather a matter of agreement.
Anything outside of WotC materia being sold here would need to be approved by WotC AND a deal with the original publisher (Green Ronin or Kobold Press, for exaple) would need to be reached, meaning that it is NOT by a longshot an easy or quick process.
I am confident stuff will come, eventually, just not in the short term.

I believe DDB needs approval from Wizards to sell another companies products since DDB is listed as the official Internet electronics works for D&D 5th edition. They did get it for the Bloodhunter class and the Gunslinger subclass but both of those are provided here at no cost for use by us. Getting permission for selling things is another ball of wax on things to work out, I hope they can myself since having more critters to kill or befriend is always good I mean sooner or later your gonna get tired of the same old Goblins and such.

This is what I thought after it was mentioned that the book was written by Kobold press. Thank you all and yes I also hope that at some point this happens. Though if not sooner or later the homebrew option might be a work around for specific things.

Tome of Beasts is a Kobold Press product. It's not made by Wizards of the Coast.

Ok that makes sense thank you.

When did this book hit D&D Beyond? Is this the only one in the series so far?
Let the Mists surround you...
It was like literally maybe an hour or two or three ago.
Since they did the first one, I assume the second and third one will come too if the sales are good for the first one.

Possibly, but not guaranteed that they'll have the sequels on the site.
But who knows, years ago, no one expected any 3rd party books on this site.
