I have a Discord for my regular D&D group that I'd like to use for as much as I can to reduce our group's reliance on Facebook. Although I've found some organisational and attendance bots, they all seem geared towards raiding in various video games. Now, while it would be amazing if the upcoming DDB Discord bot were to include some sort of attendance attribute, I doubt it will and even if it does, I don't want to wait for it.
So here's my question: can you recommend a Discord bot to organise D&D games? I'm looking for something simple and easy to use that can track group attendance but also be an event organiser for D&D sessions, so there needs to be some sort of facility to include session recap information, time of event, location of event and name of event. It'd also be nice if I could include the location of our randomly chosen food venue but that's probably getting a little too specific

I would recommend the Avrae bot. It works very well once you learn how to use it and it's compatible with DnD beyond. However it does not work with homebrew.

Avrae is definitely a nice tool, but unfortunately it seems it is dangerously close to using licensed content without a license (AFAIK).
Also, I think DrJK was asking more in terms of group management, so stuff like calendar, attendance tracker and the like, which Avrae does not have (I could be wrong).

This post was from 2019: I think I know, but I want to verify, has this concern been resolved as far as non-OGL D&D material purchased from dndbeyond?

Avrae ports from roll20 and Dndbeyond I believe. However maybe G4M3R Bot will work for you.
