I assumed alot of people would of made homebrew races by now yet when homebrew content is enabled in character creator I can only see the normal official stuff on the race page......
You need to add homebrew to your collection before they are usable (otherwise you would necer be able to find anything as there are thousands of homebrews on this site). Any homebrew you create gets added to your collection automatically. To add public homebrew to your collection, you need a subscription (hero or master).

I have a sub to get the unlimited character slots, how do I add public homebrews to it?
Following your advice and still unable to make this selection. I can view the homebrew race in my homebrew collection, but even with the homebrew toggle enabled - at the start of character creation - it's failing to list the homebrew race.

On the first page of the Character Creator, there's a toggle in that little list there for Homebrew Content. Make sure it's toggled on (red).
"but even with the homebrew toggle enabled" - the error is occurring because the toggle is enabled, and still failing to load in homebrew content. I managed to make it work by clearing my cache.
I solved this issue, i had the same problem with a custom race WITH NO RACE GROUP and im complety free so i dont have public homebrew so therefore i dont have my own homebrew… but if you seect a default race group then it appears underneath that race as its own (not a sub race or varient but as homebrew)
sorry everbody said the exact same thing. Hope this helps!!!

When you use the menu at the top of the page to access races, background, spells, items etc there is a button there BROWSE HOMEBREW
Example is homebrew races:

If you would like to use a homebrew that you find, click on the ADD TO COLLECTION button on that homebrew page.
It will now be available to your characters, as long as they have the homebrew toggle enabled in their preferences.

I had the same issue. Dumping the cache didn't work; I had to quit Chrome completely to get the homebrew race to show up.

Just following this thread, because I'm having this exact issue despite: having a subscription, clearing my cache, and restarting Chrome.
Anyone have some advice? Or should I contact support somehow?
What's a cache and how do u clear it?
