I just recently became a member of D&D Beyond, and I was wondering if it's possible to create a character using a homebrew class. I'd like to create a Kender for an up-coming campaign, but can't seem to figure out the best way to do this.
Thanks!

You cannot make homebrew classes yet on D&D Beyond. It is planned for the future.
Kender are not an offician race of D&D 5th Edition so will not be available on here. There may be a homebrew version. Dragonlance, the campaign setting featuring them, has not been updated since 3rd Edition. This means Kender have not been an official race since 3rd Edition.
Kender are a slight variation of Halflings and have absilutely nothing even vaguely similar to Tabaxi in any conceivable way.

Tabaxi are curious and poke their noses into everything and their concept of personal property ownership is kind of fuzzy. Those are two of the most annoying traits of kender that can either be fun for the rest of the party if they're played very well and very carefully or can be incredibly annoying to the rest of the party if they're played improperly.
Tabaxi are curious, sure, but they have a pretty solid grasp of personal property. They're also hyper focused, attentive and obsessive about the focus of their attention, until they get board. This is very much not a kender trait, in fact it's pretty much the opposite. Kender are bereft of a sense of attention.
There's also the fact that kender are small, child-like humanoids and tabaxi are tall, fast cat-folk.
That's like saying dwarves and elves are the same because they're both long-lived.
That's for the help everyone, I'll just have to see if I can do it as a halfling and as Mergim said "flavorize" it.
You can create a Variant of the Halfling as a homebrew to help with this if you wish.

Kender could be a halfling flavorized. Just a guess.
