Just a simple question of what type of player you are. I put a lot of options to try and see what people think they are, some overlap and I understand there are so many other choices to call yourself. Post below for your personal combination or what you would call yourself instead. I am a Min-maxer, strategist, rules lawyer, tutor, explorer, and storyteller. It mostly comes from my DMing and knowing most every rule in the PHB and where to find each rule in the books if I don't know. I also like to exhaust the entire dungeon if I can.
I also think of players in terms of tank, controllers, and general damage dealers. As I wizard, I try to stay controller, but due to the others players I ended up playing tank. I'm often described as a glass cannon.
I don't know if this is considered part of role play, but I tend to make very weak characters. I have a sorcerer who doesn't like using magic and just has negative in his charisma modifier, one that is an awakened shrub with bad stats, and his -4 in strength modifier doesn't help him much as a monk. I like being able to overcome battles when the odds are stacked against them.
I have had a player like you who did the same for constitution with a -2 modifier as a wizard (only 4 hit points for first 3 levels). I don't really enjoy having a player with a negative in their primary scores because it is a unnecessary penalty. I make the game hard enough for them as it is and having to fight uphill makes the game just not fun because it means they can't get anything done. I'm not saying your idea wouldn't work with another DM, it is just not what I aim for. I run difficult campaigns so your character would either be useless or die quickly.
One of the DM's I know actually gave us a a boss with over 300 health at level 4, then an ancient green dragon right after that. His bosses are crazy, especially with my weaker character. Even negative in charisma is acceptable when you twin cast shatter at 5th level, or use seemingly useless items to counter the boss. If someone makes a campaign harder than that, sounds like a fun challenge.

Here, have some homebrew classes! Subclasses to? Why not races. Feats, feats as well. I have a lot of magic items. Lastly I got monsters, fun, fun times.

I see myself as a casual* Roleplayer. Heavy on the roleplay =)
*casual because I only have one ongoing game all two weeks.
I'm a role player just as excited to have character moments in combat as I am in taverns.
I'm a min-maxer who has just as much fun with my -2 as my +5.
I'm a storyteller who will happily spend an entire session sitting around a campfire asking about everyone's backstory.
I'm a tutor who likes being a tutor way more as a DM, because then I can say things like "That sounds fun, go for it!"
