So I'm trying to create an item that grants a special reaction to the wearer. But I can't figure out what I need to do to make it appear in the "Reaction" section of the character sheet. Can't find what modifier type is needed. Anyone else know or could help? I appreciate it.
Well technically, you can but it has its limits. What I do, is I make a magic item that grants a reaction. Then you make a homebrew spell that comes under the action category of Reaction. Then add that spell to the item. Then once the character attunes to the item, that reaction should appear in their character sheet. Mind you, if the reaction is too similar to a current reaction owned by DnDBeyond (like Deflect Missiles or something) , you probably wont be able to publish it to the community. But this is what I do for my Homebrew campaigns and it works just fine for those. Good luck, friend! :)

Currently items can't create custom actions.
