Beacon of hope sais that creatures regains the maximum number of hit points possible from any healing. A pally lvl 10 has a 50 point pool of lay on hands. What happens when you heal 1 point with lay on hands with beacon of hope active? The creature heals 50 due to the spell?
Nope. If the Pally says “I Lay on Hands for 1 HP” the maximum healed is 1 HP. Maximization applies to rolls like “You heal 1d8 + 1 HP”, not unrolled static numbers.
Unless, of course, you WANT to drain your Pally’s pool all in one go...
By all means. Do that. (Evil maniacal DM smile and tented fingers)

The maximum possible healing from 1 point of lay on hands is 1.
