I won a legendary bundle during the livestream on Wednesday and I'm still over the moon about it! I've spent all my free time on ddb since then, skimming through the adventures, adding my campaign, adding all my Homebrew items, etc.
My wife has been playing with us for a few months but has been confused for the most part, even though I have a physical PHB. But she spent a good hour last night adding her character sheet and she said that she would've had a lot more fun if she had this tool from the beginning.
So, thank you. I know you all don't have to give stuff away, but it's an amazing gesture. And you earned another master tier subscriber because of it.
Also also, Orkira is a badass and I look forward to next week's show!

I won mine by buying it. Even though I actually paid serious money that was hard to swallow....it is still such an exceptional value that I still feel like I won.
Now, how people win them without a monetary investment is by watching the live streaming shows that the Beyond team puts out. Though, you have to watch during the live stream and participate in the chat in order to qualify. Chances are exceptionally slim and my situation rarely allows me to tune in during the live broadcast. Can't say I lost. Still a winner because the content and quality that Beyond delivers on is top notch. So, even though the giveaways are amazing, I believe in this site enough to tell you that you shouldn't hold out for it. Support the site by actually spending money here and buying the books. I am also a Master Tier subscriber. And, no, I don't make a lot of money. A lot less than most. But, I enjoy the game and the excuse to gather with my friends and have a good time. Having the collection here keeps my house from looking cluttered and the fact that I can boast about saving somewhere in the range of $4-600 over buying physical....the investment for the Legendary is high, but also consider the savings. The savings alone make me a winner and I get the satisfaction of knowing that I have helped support this site. Even if it is in a small way. I know I'm repeating myself, but I believe in this site and the team behind it and don't regret my decision to go all in with my purchases and subscription at all.
Our group uses DndBeyond for all our characters. Made it so much easier for everyone to get playing since all of us were new to 5e and 3 of our players were brand new to D&D. The last campaign we lost two, but gained another two--yet again, one was new to 5e, while the other was playing for the first time.
The only physical books are the the adventure book and one PHB for those using their phones. I look up everything in DndBeyond with my tablet.
Now we've all got the bug. We're playing a game on Thursdays. One guy started a game for his family, and the started one for some friends, coworkers, and family. We kind of drag and drop people in that one, lol. Another is wanting to start one for his friends, and I'm developing my own campaign.
Edit: The main DM and I are the Uber-nerds of our group. We each bought the highest tier on here and do content sharing in all our games. We also buy most of the books.

Aw, thank you, it's super awesome to know how much our work is appreciated! 💝
I have passed on your message to where the team will see it on Monday morning.

If you need help with homebrew, please post on the homebrew forums, where multiple staff and moderators can read your post and help you!
"We got this, no problem! I'll take the twenty on the left - you guys handle the one on the right!"🔊
And some of us will see it right away, and be super happy to know it helped both you and your wife enjoy D&D more!
Also thanks for the kind words for Orkira...she could use the encouragement right now....
