Ed Greenwood and Alex Kammer released a Border Kingdoms sourcebook that is considered official content and is apparently AL legal. Will this book come to D&D Beyond?
Probably when WotC announces it as official and add it to AL.
Neither of which has happened yet.

Odd, I did search twitter. Anyway, it's AL legal, not WotC official. It's not a WotC product. It's still a 3rd party product, so it's not likely to come to D&D Beyond. Maybe one day they're work with the duo to create an official WotC version like they did with Keith Baker and Eberron, but until then it's not official.
(Being AL legal doesn't make it official.)

Blood Hunter isn't WOTC official either, but I understand what you're saying.

Slight difference though: it's Critical Role which they're sponsor.

Though the following is stated on the bottom above the comments section "The Border Kingdoms is an officially-approved Wizards of the Coast release, meaning that its content is Adventurers League legal and all the lore contained in the book is official Forgotten Realms canon!" the bolding is due to copy as it was bolded at the source.
WHen it comes to "being official" for the purposes of D&D Beyond I would suspect it is reliant on the product being officially declared by WotC and is a WotC publishing. Since it isn't and there's no announcement on WotC sites or tweets outside of AL, I'm currently inclined to believe that bold text is them thinking they are "canon" only because WotC have permitted them into AL. This isn't the same thing as being an official WotC product, which (with sponsored exceptions notwithstanding) that D&D Beyond are limited to.
Don't get me wrong, I hope WotC do declare it official in all senses and permit D&D Beyond to add it - more content the better. I just don't see it happening at this time.

Is that really a thing? I mean, is it anywere stated that DDB only publishes (or only allowed to publish) official WotC Material? Recently there was another Supplement from Ed Greenwood "Elminster's Candlekeep Companion" and I would really like to have this and the Border Kingdoms and anything Ed publishes as a real or digital Book about the Realms on DDB. So to DDB-Staff: Are there negotiations or plans to publish other things than WotC Material or Self-sponsored things? That would be of great additional value to DDB. (Not to mention I only talk about high quality stuff, not every DMGuild thing out there.)
