Sorry if this has been asked before, but can you create your own adventures? I am looking at running Rise of the Runelords but using the 5e rules and would want to have all the info in one place for reference, particularly on Ipad.
I know there are other campaign management tools available elsewhere (very few with tablet support currently), so having the rules, stats etc in the one place, hyperlinked and all that is an attractive option, especially if I am able to link to (purchased) content (such as the MM).
So to clarify further - if I have a PDF of the content (and I find PDFs cumbersome to use at the table), can I input all the adventure content in to D&DBeyond and have it all there to access whilst running a game session (much the same way as the purchasable, official 5e adventures are)?
So - I haven't paid for anything (yet), but it appears I can create a campaign with my free account, but I only get a simple text field to add info. I guess my next question is whether I can structure my adventure material into different pages and link in monsters/items etc.
So with Runelords the book is 500-odd pages - i would want to have an introduction/index page, then break down separate chapters in to their own page, then separate subsections for each chapter area/component. Also add in maps/images and link them to descriptions for each area. almost like a wiki or something like Realm Works does. currently I am using OneNote for the campaign info, but am looking for something more focused on supporting RPGs.
Is this achievable with the current functionality of the site and what level subscription (if any) will i require to do this? It would appear i cant do this with a free account and I just want to be sure before putting any $ down.
While I can't answer your question exactly, I'm fairly confident there's no difference in the campaign management page with any subscription, except the no-ads part. It's just a text field
aaah - so the text can be input with supporting images, but it is all on the same 'page'? This seems like less value CURRENTLY than a structure which supports managing full adventure/campaign data in a structured hierarchy type setup.
Are the purchased adventure setup like this also, or do they have multiple pages for each section/chapter etc?

The adventures have multiple pages for each section/chapter, with a menu on the left to select the paragraph. Just like you can currently see in the Basic Rules Compendium.
If you have ideas for additional features that you'd like to see in Campaign Management, please head on over to the thread for that and suggest them. :)

Yes you can. Go in "My Content" section and create a campaign. You will find two text editors, one private for the DM, one public for the players.
Thankyou for the answer.

Sure ;-) !
hmmm...purchase may be imminent then :)

Sorry for all the questions.

Yes, with subscriptions or not, there is no difference in the campaign management, except the sharing of purchased material with a Master Tier.
You can't structure your notes in different pages right now, but you can certainly add images and maps (third to last icon in the text editor).

Thankyou Filcat :)
