According to the information in the PHB, a Tiefling can adopt a new name. So in one sense, yes. A Tiefling can have multiple names - a birth name and an adopted name. It's up to the Tiefling if they wish to be addressed by one name only (or if only their parents get to call them Cassandra and everyone else must call them Salubrious).
Beyond the mechanics of the game, the roleplay in the sources is more ideas than rules. Do what you wish!

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
I loved the idea of tiefling virtue names to the point that I gave my ranger and literally everyone in her backstory virtue names. They get one name at birth, and it's what their parents aspire them to become or embody. Only, I ran with the whole "tieflings are stereotyped as evil" motif and decided that the things they consider virtues...aren't. Not to moral people, at least. So my ranger is Calumny (she goes by Callie), and she has a dad named Ignominy, a mom named Malice, an uncle Slander, an aunt Felony, cousins Enmity and Cancer, and a best friend named Disdain (whom she calls Dain). It's been a blast, especially since my ranger is basically a tornado of cheerfulness.
And then you have my brother's tiefling bard...Maul PacCartney. lol
Sure, tieflings can have a regular name and a virtue name. Ultimately, though, it's your character. Whatever makes you happy.
Another thing to recall is that Tieflings pop up in a bloodline. Somewhere in their ancestry is something Infernal, but the parents or grandparents or even great grandparents or further might appear as mundane as anyone - just carrying the Infernal gene without any physical appearance. Then, the dice rolls a 1 (or 20 depending how you look at it) and the Infernal traits appear in an offspring.
Sure, it could be an Infernal union that gives birth to a Tiefling, but such a union isn't guaranteed a Tiefling just as a union with a Tiefling doesn't guarantee a Tiefling.
Imagine the whole, "Well. Nothing like this ever happened on my side of the family!" arguing...

There's nothing to guarantee the offspring would be Tiefling.
Two people with blue eyes (a recessive trait) can have a child with brown eyes (a dominant trait) who'll, in turn, have a higher chance of having kids of their own with brown eyes rather than blue eyes. Yet, if there's blue-eyed history in the bloodline, there's still a chance that a blue-eyed child can come from a union of two brown-eyed parents.
Given how the Tiefling traits pop up rather than being the norm in a bloodline, they're likely submissive traits rather than dominant and can show up most unexpectedly if certain family secrets are long-kept or long-forgotten.
EDIT: As for naming, two Tiefling parents might name their Human kid as they would name themselves.

Minor science correction. Two people with blue eyes cannot have a child with brown eyes. For blue eyes to appear, a person needs two recessive alleles. Since both parents have blue eyes, that means they only have the recessive blue eye alleles, so they do not have any dominant brown eye allele to pass down, so the resulting children will always have blue eyes.

Eric.. what color are your eyes...
I think someone cheated on someone's father.
Its two hybrid brown eyes parents have a 25% of a blue eyes baby.
Talking about the recessive genes with Tieflings thing, it is very possible actually.
Two recessive traits can produce a dominantly traited baby
My grandparents are both blue eyed and my mom was their first-born and the only one with brown eyes. My "grandpa" was convinced gram cheated on him but the DNA test said she was his. So I don't see how it wouldn't work the same with a tiefling.

I do not know what to say. I do not want to burst your bubble, but if you value truth no matter the consequences, try getting a DNA test again through a different company. Just be aware of the fall out and the result of doing so.
But back to D&D, there is magic in D&D, so you can handwave away whatever science in real life says. Imaginary worlds do not have to be based on real world physics and chemistry.
Edit: I take back what I said. I just did a Google search and it seems to be possible. This article (https://www.thetech.org/ask-a-geneticist/articles/2009/ask332/) explains it, but I am not sure how reputable the website is. But still, burst your own bubble at your own risk if you want to confirm with a different company.
Would a tiefling have a virtue name and a normal name, or just one name?

Hello! I am just a relatively new D&D player, who also likes SimplePlanes and War Thunder.
My characters are:
Depends on how the parents so named her. Tonya Umberwyrm, Anyanka Sunbright, or Tsvianitchz the Unholy soul stealing lady of the Night for 5 silver.
"...and that happened."
Ariaxora, with "Love" as a virtue name.
Hello! I am just a relatively new D&D player, who also likes SimplePlanes and War Thunder.
My characters are:
Anorexia "Chastity" daughter of the Infernal Tempter "Isodaylasis" and the 3rd den mother of the Sherab Cult.
Tie-Flings are dark, and unsettling.
"...and that happened."
Ariaxora is chaotic good, and is NOT an edgelord.

Seeing as Tieflings have a +2 to Charisma, that is completely possible.
