I'm the first player in my group to use D&D Beyond and I'm wondering how to best experience it when at the table. Should I bring my iPad, a laptop, a physical copy of my PHB (in addition to the iPad or laptop), or some combination thereof? The iPad has some advantages in that it's more light and portable than the a laptop but typing with an onscreen keyboard can be a hassle and I'm not sure if it's entirely practical. I'm guessing the non-mobile version of the site provides the best experience overall, as it doesn't have to be optimized for mobile use in any way. And does it really benefit me to have a physical PHB with me if I've got the content that I need on a laptop or tablet? Assuming there aren't issues with wireless, that is....
I would just bring a laptop (assuming you you have the dndbeyond content you need and digital dice). If you have physical books containing content you don't have on dndbeyond, you should bring them.
Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
That's what I'm leaning towards. I have a laptop ready to go, but I'd obviously prefer to use it on an iPad. Just not sure how easy that is to do, really. Have a recommendation for a digital dice tool?

Here's my advice:
