My group is playing through curse of strahd right now and we have reached a point where one of my party mates attained wolf claws from a spirit, he was alone when this happened.
He does not tell us about this because the spirit tells him not to tell the rest of the group and so we grouped up and I tired to suss him out because in character I said I sense a change in him, I felt that as a druid I have some ability to sense changes in people, especially if they get some thing related to animal powers or is that all bullshit and I can't so that at all.
There's no mechanical thing that allows Druids to do so, so unless your DM says its a thing or invites you to make a check on it then no, you don't notice. I don't think Druid's have any ability that could even cover this, like a Paladin's Divine Sense.
