Along with 5 reprints from the SCAG, GGR, and MOoT.
I knew they would do reprints. That means 27 subclasses in this book. Nice.
What SCAG class is popular enough to get a reprint? Arcane Archer?
Arcane Archer was already reprinted in Xanathar’s Guide. Given this new book’s interest in decoupling race and culture, I bet we see the race-specific battleranger barbarian and bladesinger wizard, but without the explicit dwarf and elf restrictions.
Nerdarchy confirmed the Aberrant Mind, though we have no idea in what form.
What I'm keen to see is how this new 'Lineage' system works, especially given the obvious possible parallels to PF2e's "Ancestry" system. Nevertheless, a way to tweak species traits will be grand, especially if it means Elf/Dwarf Weapon Training and other purely cultural things can finally die in a greasefire - or be shifted to Background WHERE THEY FREAKING BELONG.
Most likely, that you just can adjust the +1/+2 etc for attributes for your char and get the rest bonuses for the race.
yes we will have to see, the least of the ambition could be just guidelines for swapping spells given by traits, abillity scores and proficencies (particularly languages), but who knows maybe it will go even further than just that
I hope that we see more spells than just the Conjuration ones, but I am glad that those have been confirmed at the very least.
As for the Lineage system, I am hoping that it is well crafted and not rushed just to get it out to the public.
the chance of this happening is probably close to 0, but i personally think it be fun if they reprinted find vehicle from the modern magic UA since its supposed to be the explorations of an mage who has travelled across the planes and it be a great excuse to throw the spell at the artificer

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
Reprinted subclasses include: Order Domain Cleric and Circle of Spores Druid (Guildmasters’ Guide to Ravnica), College of Eloquence Bard and Oath of Glory Paladin (Mythic Odysseys of Theros), and the Bladesinging Wizard (Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide).
Gizmodo confirmed 22 new subclasses. There are currently 24 total UA subclasses available, counting the latest Undead warlock and Spirits bard. Assuming those two are not in because the new book has clearly been in finalization stages for a while now, it appears that every UA subclass currently still active will make it into the book in one form or another.
That is both awesome and suck, given that some of those subclasses are super sketchy, and that I'm still absolutely furious at the Fey ******* Wanderer for basically removing my beloved Horizon Walker from play. Stupid elf dandies and their stupid nonsense...rumble grumble rassafrassa...
Gizmodo has an article that dives pretty deep into some of the newly-released details.
According to this, the Psionic Sorcerer class is the Psionic Soul, not the Aberrant Mind. At least, that's what the caption of the picture for the Human Artillerist Artificer and the Tiefling Sorcerer indicates.
I should also point out, based on the way Crawford worded his statements quoted in the article, that Tasha's Cauldron will NOT be considered a Core book. He gives their definition of the Core books as the absolute minimum required to play the game. For the player side, that's the PHB, and that's kinda it. So AL games will probably still be PHB +1. That does, however, explain the prolific reprints in the book. WotC is clearly expecting Tasha's Cauldron to be the extra book.
You're assuming that all of the new content will be from previous UA. Was that confirmed?
Not anywhere I've seen, no. But I can't imagine Wizards, with its oft-stated focus on Incorporating Player Feedback(TM) into the game, would have the balls to introduce a brand new, untested subclass whilst leaving out UA from what J-Craw states is 'the most highly rated series of test content we've ever done'. Every single one of the UA subclasses is somebody's Shiny Sparkling Favorite; if they dropped any UA subs to introduce something nobody's ever seen before, you can bet a chunk of playerbase would raise hell.
Admittedly, some of the UA subclasses are just awful and don't deserve to see the light of day. Lurker warlock, Fey ******* Wanderer, "Unity" domain...there's a few turds in that soup. But even a turd can be somebody's personal favorite, and Wizards has voided all of its game design responsibilities anyways. So I have no doubt we've seen at least the bones of every new subclass in this book.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, Yurei. I think that all of the subclasses deserve publishing. Lurker in the Deep is a great subclass thematically, though the mechanics needed fixing. The Fey Wanderer was great, and stepped on the toes of the Horizon Walker less than the Undead Warlock steps on the toes of the Undying. The Unity cleric is kind of dumb, but we need something to fill that niche.

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
If a 'Lurker in the Deep' is published that has nothing to do with the UA mechanics, does it really count? The Fey Wanderer completely invalidates the poor Horizon Walker except with crappier lore and overdone pseudo-Smites instead of cool, thematically satisfying planar warrior powers. And the Undead warlock is basically Wizards admitting that they botched the Undying warlock and are hoping to patch it but they're not allowing themselves to say that out loud because shareholders.
I don't think we'll see the Undead lock or Spirits bard, seems too close to the deadline. But maybe. Who knows.
This is going to be are really large book!
She/Her College Student Player and Dungeon Master
Hopefully bigger than Xanathars.
Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
Hopefully without the rules for GMs only section awkwardly jammed into the middle like Xanathar's.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Arcane Archer wasn't in SCAG. I'm guessing Bladedancer wizard and/or Arcana cleric.

Yeah, I'm guessing Arcana Cleric. It's a great subclass in such a bad book.

I will also guess that the Undying Patron will be there, even though it is pretty bad imho
Also Battlerager
She/Her College Student Player and Dungeon Master
No, that (Undead Warlock, Spirits Bard UA) came out too soon. It's not gonna be in it, IMHO.

from IGN.
Ok 5 SCaG subclasses
She/Her College Student Player and Dungeon Master
I’m hopeful for the Rune Knight and Order of Scribes. Also liked the love rangers got.

The undead warlock replaces the dumpster fire that was the undying warlock.
