I am recently planning on making a D&D podcast, I decided to hold a audition where I give the people there statblocks or premade character sheets and bring them through a short encounter. I want the encounter to be more social based and test the players improv and role playing skills, though a combat scenario will be needed.
Any suggestions for good encounters like these or things I should involve in the encounter?
Something one of my theatre teachers once said is that not only is the audience hearing you say your line for the first time, but your character is also saying the line for the first time. So slow down, and really take in the impact of your words as you're saying them, even if you've rehearsed it a thousand times before.
