I was looking in the market place and I can't find Tasha's for preorder. I've already pre-ordered the physical copy from Amazon, but usually D&D Beyond has it up first.
Tasha's Cauldron of Everything will be available on D&D Beyond upon release, but digital pre-orders for the product are not yet available. We will share all pre-order details - including the special D&D Beyond pre-order perks - on all of our social channels as soon as they become available. Thank you!
I'm sorry for asking, but this seems to be taking a lot longer than other books. Will the digital copy at least be available when physical copy goes on sale in stores?
Meaning that you won't be able to make characters on DDB using TCE rules until Q2 2022 for the worst-case scenario. Back to pen-and paper everyone!
I can assure you the team is working very hard to ensure this is not the case as they're very aware how important any rules changes such as this are. This is actually part of the reason the Class Feature Variants implementation was mothballed, as it was realised the dev resources were better allocated getting the final versions in than releasing the UA versions and then having to do work then updating those versions to match the finalised versions.
My guess is that hardcover sales are hurting right now as people play online and WOTC is delaying digital pre-orders in order to boost them. They've got contracts with printers they can't back out of and need those physical sales to make their numbers.
Ill be honest, I was hoping they would do another cross promotion (Preorder hardcover 50% off DDB), this is one of the few books I feel like i want both versions lol.
DNDBeyond offer bonuses with books like frames and backgrounds that you can (currently) only get by preordering. Besides - if you know you're going to buy it anyway - why not preorder?
Hello, community!

Did I miss a memo?
Thanks!

Any time line for when it will be available?

I think its safe to assume the digital version will be available when it releases....
Hello is Dnd Beyond going to update us on this? What is up?
You need to address this to Wizards of the Coast. They are currently not letting any digital retailer take preorders for this book.
Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
Quicksilver & The Scarlet Witch - A pair of magical firearms for your Gunslinger or Artificer.
Should we just ask them via Twitter? I'm not sure how to reach them.
DDB was updated for the new SAG but it sounds to me that it will be a month, or maybe even months, before TCE is integrated.

Adam addresses this in the Dev Updates, so feel free to check them out, either live or Twitch or on the VOD, or on the D&D Beyond youtube channel

November 17 is the release date, so it's def not going to be 2022 when it comes out. This is per Penny Arcade ads.

Y'all need to chill it's like 5 more weeks
I would at least like to know if there is going to be any bonus stuff from DnDB. Frames, themes, backgrounds, dice, etc.

I would have jumped at a cross promotion for this book. But will always prioritise DDB over physical now if paying full price.
Why would you want to preorder a digital copy anyway, is there a concern DnDBeyond will run out of copies

If there are freebies it makes sense. Maybe thats why people keep asking on twitter.
