This is a purely mechanical question, so I need to state that I play fourth edition.
I have a character concept whereby I made up this weird half drow character with an oddly shadowed past. She was bizarre enough in the present that I decided I wanted to know more about her past. I came up with, "Her mother is a renegade drow, her father is an eladrin, she "grew up" in the Feywild, she died in an accident at the age of 9, she's actually undead and kinda a servitor of the god her mother pulled the power from to make her an undead. Who even knows who that god is?" (Her mother caused the accident. She was dueling another dark pact warlock and Gejas. . . my character. . . got hit in the crossfire. Faerumma couldn't face up to having killed her own daughter, hence the whole undead mess.) Also, her older brother is a paladin of the Raven Queen, which is why Gejas left the Feywild. (It was the reason she left her home city. Unless Faerumma's deal is with the Raven Queen. . . highly unlikely. . . Byren's vow means he's sworn to try and destroy her if he finds out what she is. Rather than take that risk, Gejas left. She was going to have to anyway; her mother's deal was that Gejas would get her normal lifespan - albeit as an undead - but that life is pledged to whomever that god is. Gejas is as a side quest carrying out his/her goals. . . and they affect the Natural World not the Feywild. Her brother merely sped up the inevitable.)
So. . . half drow, half eladrin, undead, probably a magicky class since she's not particularly physically powerful, and a servant of a god whose name she is completely unaware of. How on earth do I handle that mechanically? As far as I know, there is no published profile for half drow/half eladrin. I'm assuming vrylokas would come in somewhere, or maybe a shadow class, but wouldn't she have eladrin/drow racial abilities? What about ability score bonuses?
Remember, 4e. . .
