I used to use OrcPub which had all the sources. Now that most of that is gone, I'm looking into Beyond. I'm looking into buying the hero version of Beyond, and was wondering if anything similar to OrcPub is there that had VGM or other sources.
The subscription tiers don't unlock any new content. All they do is unlock more character slots in the builder beyond the free six.
If you want any content in the builder beyond the free stuff, you actually need to purchase it from the marketplace. It's much different here than OrcPub.

You can purchase Volo's Guide to Monsters from the marketplace.
D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.
