I have researched and read Sharing Content, but I don't exactly 100% understand how it works even still.
I have two friends who have free accounts. I have a Master Tier subscription and the following books: PHB, DMG, MM, Volo's, XgtE, SCAG
Friend 1 with the free account is the real life DM. I would like him to make the campaign and manage it with all his notes and organizational information, etc.
My other friend has no books IRL or anything, but wants to play.
I would like to be able to share all my books (as I have done IRL, but it's honestly a hassle to flip through multiple books and pages to create a character and so forth) online with both my DM and friend.
Can this be done? Will they be able to see all the content I've unlocked if content sharing is enabled?
Follow up question: Does DNDBeyond support the UA Revised Ranger at all? Or only the official PHB one for now? If yes: how does one access or unlock it?
For now there is no Revised Ranger, as this is from Unearthed Arcana, rather than an official D&D book.
As I'm sure you're aware, Unearthed Arcana are playtest rules.
That said - it is planned to integrate Unearthed Arcana into D&D Beyond in the future, but before that can happen, the dev team need to implement the homebrew system for subclasses.

Sure, you can absolutely do this.
Get your friend (the DM) to create a campaign and send you an invite.
Once you join, your friend needs to enable Content Sharing on the campaign and then everyone will be able to see your rulebooks. :)
They will also be able to create characters using the content you purchased, as long as those characters are part of the campaign.

Ah, great. Would it be accessed for them the same way it is for me: Ala: Character -> Classes -> Warlock (All subtypes available for reading) etc?
