In a sim that I am participating in at my local library's D&D club, my PC received splint armor as booty. I can't seem to find it in the list of Armor items, but it is described within the compendium. Does anyone know how I might be able to add it to the inventory for my character?
Splint appears in the builder. Make sure you are proficient with it, otherwise you must un-toggle the "Proficient" box in the "Add Item" section of the Inventory.

D&D Beyond FoundersIt's just called "Splint" and is in the items available.
What character class is your character (i.e. are they proficient with Heavy armour?

That must have been the problem. I didn't realize that there was a limiter by proficiency!
